Students from Reeceville Elementary hope the public will support the school’s 10th annual used-book sale, a fund-raiser that benefits enrichment programs at the school.

Celebrating 10 years of educational recycling, the Reeceville Elementary School Used Book Sale will be held Friday and Saturday, organizers said.

The sale will offer more than 35,000 books for readers of all ages that have been sorted into more than 50 categories, a news release said.  The assortment will include fiction, nonfiction, books on tape, reference books, textbooks, computer software, videotapes, DVDs, CDs, records and more.

Prices have reduced this year to 50 cents to $1 for paperbacks; most hardbacks are prices at $1 to $2. Proceeds will be used for student enrichment programs and materials, the release said.

The sale will begin on Friday from 5 to 9 p.m. and run on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a half-hour closing at 2 p.m. in preparation for the final $8 a bag sale. For more information, visit www.coatesville.k12.pa.us/rv, call 610-383-3785, or email usedbooksale@reecevillepts.org.
