Authorities said E. Fallowfield man, 52, assaulted girlfriend, killed himself
An East Fallowfield woman is in stable condition at Paoli Hospital after an assault on Sunday morning by her live-in boyfriend who then killed himself, authorities said.
Police responded to the unit block of Park Avenue at 12:33 a.m. Chester County District Attorney Tom Hogan said no further details would be released until investigators have had an opportunity to talk to the victim. He said the death of the boyfriend, 52, likely eliminated the need for criminal charges, but an investigation is continuing.
