Police said a man who was picking up his children saw a silver Mercedes pass the bus, even though it had its lights activated, police said. The driver, later identified as Kevin Berry Jr., 21, of Coatesville, then stopped his car, got out of it, and attempted to fight with the victim, even threatening his children, police said. Berry was cited for terroristic threats and traffic offenses, police said.

According to court records, Berry has a history of drug and traffic offenses. State police arrested him most recently on Wednesday, Nov. 6, and he was taken to Chester County Prison after failing to post $25,000 cash bail, court records said.

On Wednesday, Nov. 6, at 5:44 p.m. Cpl. Ken Michels and Officer David Marquette came into contact with William Cooper, 22, and Marquise Warner, 24, in the 700 block of East Chestnut street, police said.  Warner was wanted on two bench warrants, and Cooper was wanted on a criminal warrant; both were taken into custody without incident and transported to the station to await transport to Chester County Prison by constables, police said.

While responding to an alarm on Wednesday, Nov. 6, at 7:22 p.m. in the 700 block of East Lincoln Highway, Cpl. Jonathan Shave came into contact with a juvenile male who was running from other officers, police said. The male, who was stopped and found to be in possession of marijuana, will be processed by juvenile authorities, police said.

A landlord told police on Wednesday, Nov. 6, that her vacant rental property in the 700 block of East Lincoln Highway was broken into sometime between Nov. 1 and Nov. 6, Officer Raymond Jaglowicz reported. Police said the locks appeared to have been tampered with and a window was broken to gain access to the property, causing an estimated $400 in damages. An investigation is continuing, police said.

On Wednesday, Nov. 6, at 3:51 p.m., Officer Stephen Galletta made contact with Jose Torres, who had summary warrants for his arrest. Torres, a Coatesville resident, was taken into custody without incident and taken to the station to await transport by constables, police said.
