Police say 45-year-old drove drunk, resisted arrest, possessed drugsĀ
On Saturday, Nov. 30, at 10:01 p.m., Coatesville Cpl. Ken Michels and Officer Rob Kuech came in contact with Joseph Raison-Marshall, 48, of Coatesville, in the 200 block of West Lincoln Highway, police said. Raison-Marshall was taken into custody for driving under the influence, resisting arrest, possession with the intent to deliver and related offenses, police said. Police said Raison-Marshall had 14.3 ounces of crack cocaine in his possession. Raison-Marshall was transported to the station, processed, and held for video arraignment, police said.
Police conducted a traffic stop on a dark-colored SUV on Friday, Nov. 29, at 2:46 p.m. in the 500 block of Olive Street for equipment violations and determined that the driver, Tekeesha Lovelace, 32, of Coatesville, was under the influence of narcotics, Officer David Marquette reported. Lovelace, who failed a field sobriety test, was held for arraignment, police said.
On Saturday, Nov. 30, at 1:48 a.m., Cpl. Jonathan Shave responded to the 400 block of Victoria Drive for a burglary in progress, police said. Upon arrival, the victim said a male entered the residence through a window and fled when he realized that occupants were awake, police said. An investigation is continuing, and anyone with information is asked to call police at 610-384-2300.
Officer Stephen Galletta made contact with Torrie Brown, 21, of Maricora, Ariz., on Friday, Nov. 29, at 11:46 a.m. at the station, police said. Brown had a warrant for theft and was sent to Chester County Prison after failing to post 10 percent of $10,000 bail, police said.
An Atglen woman was cited for careless driving on Friday, Nov. 29, at 10:57 a.m. after causing an accident at Olive Street and Pennsylvania Avenue, Officer Sylvester Earle reported. Police said Messiah Jones, 25, turned her 2000 Lincoln Navigator without making sure the roadway was clear, was struck by another vehicle, and then hit a utility police, police said.
Cpl. Ken Michels and Officer Rob Kuech observed Kenneth M. Dixon, 45, of Coatesville, on Sunday, Dec. 1, at 12:52 a.m. in the 600 block of East Chestnut Street, police said. Dixon, who had a warrant, was taken into custody, and found to be in possession of 4.8 grams of crack cocaine as well as marijuana and a BB gun, police said. Dixon was processed and held for video arraignment, police said.
Albert Edwards, 47, of Coatesville, was cited for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct after police observed him urinating near Pierce Court on Saturday, Nov. 30, at 9:06 p.m., Officer Rob Kuech reported. Edwards fled when approached by officers but was taken into custody, processed, and held until sober, police said.
Malik Attaway, 23, of Philadelphia, was taken into custody after police responded to a disturbance in the 600 block of East Harmony Street on Saturday, Nov. 30, at 7:40 p.m., Cpl. Ken Michels reported. Police said Michels was intoxicated to a degree that he was a danger to himself and others. He was processed and held until sober, police said.
On Saturday, Nov. 30, at 12:21 p.m., Officer David Marquette conducted a traffic stop for vehicle equipment violations at Virginia Avenue and Olive Street, police said. An occupant of the vehicle, Bradshon Jennings, 20, was found to be in possession of a controlled substance, arrested, and held for arraignment, police said.
Police responded to the discovery of a garage burglary in the 600 block of Olive Street on Sunday, Dec. 1, at 9:37 a.m., Cpl. Jeffrey Ingemie reported. Unknown items were taken from the property, police said.
