Burglary reported in 200 block W. Lincoln Highway

Victim said rent money stolen from back bedroom

IMG_0875On Tuesday, Dec. 3,at 7:27 p.m., Coatesville Police were dispatched to the 200 block of West Lincoln Highway for a burglary, Officer Joseph Norcini reported. The victim found the front door open upon returning home, said police, who entered the residence and found no one inside. The victim said $675 in rent money was taken from the back bedroom, police said. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 610-384-2300.

Police conducted a pedestrian stop in the unit block of Pennsylvania Avenue on Tuesday, Dec. 3, at 10:08 p.m. and took Terrance D. Scott, 32, of Coatesville, into custody on a criminal warrant, Officer Chris McCarthy reported. Scott was arraigned and transferred to the Chester County Prison after failing to post 10 percent of $30,000 bail, police said.

On Tuesday, Dec. 3, at 5:35 p.m., Coatesville Police made contact with a victim in the unit block of South Church Street, who stated that a rock had been thrown through an upstairs bedroom window, causing approximately $100 in damage. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 610-384-2300.

A patrol officer from the West Whiteland Township Police Department responded to the Target store in Exton on Nov. 23 for a reported theft, West Whiteland police said. A store loss prevention officer stated that an internal investigation determined that a store employee, identified as Zkrr Trowery, 20, of Coatesville, stole $1,410 in cash from cash resisters over a seven-day period, police said. Trowery was charged with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property and released on a criminal summons, police said.
