PennDOT: Sweeping to continue on U.S. 30 Bypass

Work will result in intermittent lane closures this week

imgBOMOHomeArea roadwork has been scheduled this week, said an announcement on Friday, Dec. 13, from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT). PennDOT wants motorists to be mindful of possible delays.

Crews will continue to do maintenance sweeping on the westbound U.S. 30 Bypass in Caln and Valley Townships. The work, which will result in intermittent lane closures between Rts. 82 and 340, will be done from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. from Monday, Dec. 16, through Friday, Dec. 20.

For those traveling on West Lancaster Avenue into Downingtown, PECO Energy crews will continue to work on utility installation between Manor and Downing Avenues on Tuesday, Dec. 17, and Friday, Dec. 18
