Brandywine Center hosts holiday social, Dec. 5

Coatesville Area School District students to provide entertainment

36660062COATESVILLE – Residents of The Brandywine Center, a senior affordable housing community in in the heart of the city will be hosting “Home For The Holidays” Christmas Social on this Thursday, Dec. 5 at 6 PM at The Brandywine Center Kay Conference Room.

The event will feature music, a visit from Santa, and catering by  Brigitte Norris, owner of “Brigitte’s Taste Of Home.” Norris is well-known for her passionate work as a local caterer and also as the Chef at the Coatesville Area Senior Center.

Musical entertainment will be provided by the Coatesville Area School District vocal group, The Meistersingers Belletones and Redmen and The CASH Concert Band Instrumental Ensemble.  Both groups will perform selections of holiday and spiritual music.  The CASH Music Department is well known elite performance groups in the Coatesville Community.  The students and staff volunteer their time to perform at several venues throughout the community during the holiday season.

The Holiday Blessing will be offered by Marion London, a local spiritual leader in the Coatesville Community and former Brandywine Center resident.

Featured attendees will include Frances Sheehan, President & CEO of The Brandywine Health Foundation, and James H. Manning, Jr., Board Chairman of The Brandywine Health Foundation.
