Police said incident occurred at store in Exton Square Mall
On Friday, Jan. 24, 2014, patrol officers from the West Whiteland Township Police Department responded to the Boscov’s store at the Exton Square Mall for a report of a male who had exposed himself to a female employee, West Whiteland police said. The woman said she was assisting a male customer when he brushed up against her and then exposed himself to her, police said. The man, identified as Heribento Santos, 21, of Coatesville, was arrested and charged with indecent exposure, harassment and disorderly conduct. He was remanded to Chester County Prison after failing to post bail, which was set at 10 percent of $20,000, police said. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 3, police said.
On Wednesday, Jan. 29, at 8:32 p.m., Coatesville Police went to a residence in the 300 block of West Lincoln Highway to attempt warrant service, Officer Chris McCarthy reported. Chekesha C. Pate, 37, of Coatesville, was taken into custody for failure to appear at a preliminary hearing, police said. Pate was arrested on Jan. 1 and provided false information, identifying herself as Chekesha Thompson, police said. Pate was arraigned and transported to Chester County Prison after failing to post $1,000 cash bail, police said, adding that the Philadelphia Police Department was contacted after Coatesville officers determined that Pate had a Philadelphia warrant on drug charges. According to court records, bench warrants were issued for Pate over the years after she was charged with drug possession and driving under the influence in Philadelphia in 2005.
On Thursday, Jan. 30, at 1:11 a.m., Coatesville Police attempted to stop a white Mitsubishi-Eclipse that was traveling the wrong way down on Olive Street, eventually detaining the car on Pennsylvania Avenue after the driver ignored efforts to stop him, Officer Chris McCarthy reported. The driver, who was later identified as Bernardo Sabine-Sanchez of Coatesville, also attempted to provide false identification, police said. He was taken into custody and charged with fleeing and eluding, driving without a license, and other traffic offenses, police said.
Patrol officers from the West Whiteland Township department responded to the Wal-Mart store in Exton on Thursday, Jan. 9, for a report that a woman had stolen a $10 shirt and left the store, West Whiteland police said. The officers identified the woman as Cheree Fuller, 22, of Coatesville, police said, adding that officers have been unable to locate her. Police said she was charged with misdemeanor theft and receiving stolen property because she had a prior retail theft conviction.
