Burke tapped to lead county Voter Services

WEST CHESTER — Sandra Burke, of Phoenixville, has been appointed by the Chester County Commissioners as the new Director of Chester County’s Department of Voter Services.

Burke previously served as Assistant Director and Interim Director of Chester County Voter Services.  She is skilled in the PA Election Code and election programming activities and was instrumental in the certification process of the 2017 and 2018 election results.  In addition, she has led County programs related to poll worker outreach and training, campaign finance and voter registration.

Prior to her service as Assistant Director and Interim Director of Voter Services, Burke held a senior managerial role at The Vanguard Group and was Associate General Counsel of Charles Schwab. She has extensive experience in public policy and strategic initiatives as well as operational process efficiency.

Burke is a graduate of Santa Clara University and has a Juris Doctor degree from Santa Clara University School of Law.
