WEST CHESTER — The Fraternal Order of Police, Chester County Lodge #11 will be holding its annual Law Enforcement Memorial Service on Thursday, May 9 at 6:30 p.m. at FOP Headquarters, 218 N. Church Street, West Chester, PA.
“Kicking of National Police Week which begins on Sunday, FOP Lodge #11 will pay tribute to not only those law enforcement officers from Chester County who have lost their lives in the line of duty, but to officers from across the country who made the supreme sacrifice, putting themselves in harm’s way to keep our communities safe,” said Steve Plaugher, FOP President.
Guest speakers include state FOP President Les Neri, Chester County District Attorney Tom Hogan, Chester County Sheriff Bunny Welsh, and the Reverend Jack Crans.
The memorial service is an outdoor event and public is invited. In addition to our speakers, participating will be the Chester County Pipe and Drum Band, and Honor Guards from Chester County Sheriff’s Office, Tredyffrin and West Goshen Police Departments. A Rifle Salute and Taps will conclude the ceremony.
