State police said Downingtown man caused rear-end collision in Caln Twp.
A 2011 Kia Sorento was stopped for traffic in the right lane of the eastbound Rt. 30 Bypass in Caln Township when another driver rear-ended it, state police from the Embreeville barracks said.
Police said the crash occurred on Tuesday at 7:26 a.m., about 400 feet west of Rock Raymond Road. Police said no one was injured, but the driver of the striking vehicle, Shawn B. Braccia, 21, of Downingtown, who was operating a 2003 Dodge Neon that had to be towed from the scene, was cited for following too closely.
Coatesville Police Officer Carmen Mollichella was dispatched Wednesday at 11:30 p.m. to a domestic dispute in the 100 block of East Chestnut Street, police said. Upon investigation, Lamar Boyer, 29, of Coatesville, was arrested for simple assault, police said.
