Two Coatesville men face offenses that include growing, selling pot
On Sunday at 7:44 p.m., Officer David Marquette responded to a reported domestic disturbance in the 400 block of West Lincoln Highway, police said. At the scene, Marquette observed several potted marijuana plants inside the residence and a bag containing numerous smaller bags of an off-white, rock-like substance believed to be crack cocaine, police said. After obtaining and executing a search warrant, police said they found items for processing, weighing and packaging narcotics as well as .9mm handgun ammunition. Curtis Self, 20, and Ernest Joint, 18, both of Coatesville, were arrested on multiple drug charges and held for arraignment, police said.
Officer David Marquette responded to an alleged hit-and-run accident hit on Friday at 9:20 p.m. in the 700 block of East Lincoln Highway, police said. The investigation revealed that the victim was stopped at a traffic light when a vehicle operated by Elizae McDonald, 18, rear-ended it, police said. Caln Township Police assisted in locating McDonald, who had fled the scene, police said, adding than no one was injured.
Officer Stephen Galletta cited Mona Lisa London, 40, of Coatesville, for harassment after investigating a complaint on Sunday at 9:59 p.m. that London had been calling a woman, hanging up, and also knocking on the door to the woman’s house for several days.
Christina Anderson, 22, of Coatesville, was cited for harassment after police investigated a complaint on Sunday at 7:55 p.m. that Anderson had been making harassing phone calls and threatening to fight the victim, Officer Stephen Galletta reported.
Coatesville police responded to an alleged hit-and-run accident on Friday at 12:10 p.m. in the 500 block of Harmony Street, Officer Miguel A. Ortiz reported. The victim said her vehicle’s driver door was struck by an unknown, four-door gold vehicle with Pa. registration that fled eastbound on Harmony Street, police said.
