On Monday at 9:56 p.m., Coatesville police were dispatched to the 1100 block of East Stirling Street for a criminal-mischief complaint, Officer Miguel A. Ortiz reported. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the victim, who said that two BB pellets shattered her front window and that she had seen a group of kids running westbound on Stirling Street to an unknown location, police said, adding that officers checked the area but did not locate the suspects.
Cpl. Jonathan Shave responded to an address in the unit block of West Sixth Avenue on Tuesday at 3:26 a.m. for a stolen-vehicle report, police said. The victim said that she had last seen her car, a tan 1998 Toyota Avalon, at approximately 1 a.m. in front of her house, police said, adding that the vehicle was recovered about 5:30 a.m.
