Police gave chase but were unable to apprehend suspect
West Brandywine Township Police are seeking the public’s help to apprehend a burglary suspect.
Police said they were dispatched Monday night at 8:47 p.m. to a burglary in the 1100 block of Manor Road. Police said the homeowners confronted the suspect, and he fled as officers arrived on location. As the suspect fled on foot, hopping over a fence into a field, police gave chase but were not able to apprehend him, police said.

The suspect is described as a thinly built, mid- to late-20s black male, approximately 6-foot-3, with gray hair on the left side of his head, police said. He was wearing blue jeans and a black hoodie and was last seen running toward Hurley Road, police said.
