Downingtown eateries dishing up for Fallfest

DowningtownMainStreetDOWNINGTOWN — Participating Downingtown restaurants are offering two unique dishes from September 19 to September 26 to celebrate the fall harvest season.

FallFeast will emphasize the culinary creativity and diversity of the restaurants in the Downingtown community. Each restaurant will have to incorporate a mandated ingredient in one of the dishes and the other will be a “Chef’s Choice.”

The participating restaurants include Amani’s BYOB, P. J. Whelihan’s, Victory Brewing Company and Downingtown Brewpub.

“The concept of FallFeast is draw additional customers to the fine restaurants in Downingtown,” said Bill Covaleski, President of Victory Brewing and a member of the Board of Directors of DMSA. Covaleski and DMSA board member Becca Settle of Kimberton Whole Foods are chairing the FallFeast promotion. “Once new patrons taste the quality offerings of the restaurants they will become return customers.”

The promotion is connected with Downingtown’s annual Fallfest which is being held on Sunday, September 27. Last year about 5,000 people attended the celebration which included food, fun and vendors.

DMSA will benefit from the sales of the two unique dishes during FallFeast. Downingtown Main Street Association was incorporated in 1993 with the purpose of enhancing the borough by bringing citizens, residents, property owners, business owners, and the private sector together to build a bright future.
