Boy said he was returning home from friend’s house, police said

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAPolice were on patrol in the 100 block of West Lincoln Highway at 12:13 a.m. on Friday when a juvenile was observed walking alone on the sidewalk, Officer Brenden M. Boyle reported. The 12-year-old male stated that he was returning home from a friend’s house, police said. He was transported to his residence, where he was released to his mother and a curfew violation was issued, police said.

On Thursday at 3 p.m., Officer David Marquette responded to the 500 block of East Harmony Street for a verbal dispute, police said. Danquice Shelton, 25, of Coatesville, was cited for criminal mischief after damaging a vehicle, police said.

Officer David Marquette followed up on a retail theft complaint in the 200 block of East Lincoln Highway on Thursday at 3:39 p.m., police said. Ronald Parker of Virginia admitted taking candy and was arrested, police said.

A female juvenile was cited for harassment following a domestic dispute, Officer David Marquette said. The girl struck her mother during an argument on Thursday at 1:38 p.m. in the 400 block of Maple Avenue, police said.
