Two injured in Coatesville early morning house fire

COATESVILLE — The Bureau of Fire was alerted to a reported house fire in the 500 block of Coates Street, early Monday morning. Fatal shooting in Coatesville early Sunday

COATESVILLE — A city man was shot to death in the early morning hours, Sunday, in the area of South 4th Avenue and Maple Avenue, police said. Jamar Parker, 36, was found lying in the middle of the intersection with gunshot wounds at about 1 a.m. Responding police administered first aid to the victim before transport to Brandywine Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 1:30 a.m.
