Police: Driver backs into another vehicle – twice

Man is accused of operating with license suspended in North Carolina

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOn Friday at 4:09 p.m., police responded to the 300 block of East Lincoln Highway for an accident in a parking lot, Officer Sylvester Earle reported. Carlos J. Diaz said he was backing out of a parking spot in a red Honda when he struck a gray Acura, damaging the front bumper and front driver’s side quarter panel, police said. No injuries were reported, but it was later determined that Diaz was driving with a suspended North Carolina license, police said.

About a half-hour later, Diaz backed into another vehicle, a Nissan Altima, in the same parking lot, Officer Sylvester Earle reported. Neither driver was injured, but both vehicles were damaged, police said. Diaz was charged with driving while operating privileges are suspended and careless driving, police said.

Cpl. Jeffrey Ingemie was on patrol on Sunday at 10:45 a.m. when he heard loud music coming from a white Honda Civic in the 600 block of East Chestnut Street, police said. Ingemie stopped the vehicle in the next block and cited Juan Carlos Rodriguez, 19, of Philadelphia, for a noise violation, police said.

On Saturday at 7:03 a.m., Officer Sylvester Earle and Cpl. Jeffrey Ingemie responded to the 800 block of East Chestnut Street for a report that a man had urinated outside a residence, police said. Although the man had left the area, police received a description and Ingemie conducted a pedestrian stop a short time later and issued a citation for disorderly conduct to Terrell M. Barber, 28, of Coatesville, police said.

A domestic dispute on Friday at 3:15 p.m. led to disorderly conduct citations for two Coatesville women in the 600 block of East Chestnut Street, Officer Sylvester Earle reported. Police said the citations were issued to Wanda L. Lundy, 56, and Wanda J. Lundy, 24.
